Sushil Bansal, one of the alleged masterminds accused of defrauding the US/DC governments, has a company too. See link below: http://www.aitc.net/ When fellow Indian Washingtonians get so successful, some put themselves under undue pressure to quickly make a fortune and buy a 25000 square feet Georgian-style mansion overlooking the Potomac. See link below to find out how the Indians in the DC Metro region prospered. http://www.ffislam.com/Article... In IT, all these mushrooming boutique Indian Consultancies have really changed the rules of the game with most of the limited 65000 H1-B visa going to the Indian nationals residing in India instead of awarding to qualified and accultured internationals students from other countries who have invested so much time, labor and money in the US. Most of the contracting in the IT industry is done via networking but with illegal percentage cuts/cash payments under the table. What do you expect when the guest workers come from one of the most corrupt nations in the world where lying or cheating is the only way of survival. The Obama Administration and the regional governments needs to conduct more sting operations and investigations into such illegal fleecing in times of tough fiscal and budgetery environment. Hyde Absolutely right. But I think with this economy, the chances of consultancy thriving is very slim. As we've heard many of them are getting busted. It is just a matter of time, they will dig all the rabbits our of the hole. Americans will take over all those jobs and I think if you're a legit immigrant with exceptional skills in the field, it should not effect at all. Those in the OK standard will definitely have a hard time to convince why they need to hire him instead of US citizen.
