If you are H1 B and if you are not paid then you are illegal to stay in US. I think that is right ?

what if a company (ABC) is ready to sponsor me H1 B but cannot afford me pay the minimum salary according to the H1 B requirement?
coresoul · Feb 20, 2009 12:29 AM
Then you cant work for them. You have to meet the requirement. Unless they are NGO's, who can sponsor you at a much lesser salary. And why would you work for someone who dosent even wants to kay you around 40 K a year?

Hi! Frens, I came here on F1 and changed my status to H1B. Right now no job and no pay stub. Can I go back to school without having pay stub? Looking for serious response only.

dont take any chances to go school without pay stub. To change the status back to f1, u have to go thorough INS, and right now INS guys are very strict, they might deny your status change request in absence of pay stub.

Well, the company that did your H1 needs to give you a paystub. Tell them that either get you a job or get you pay stubs so that you can go back to school. I hope they will listen. Best of Luck

how many pay stubs do we need?
coresoul · Feb 21, 2009 5:13 AM
last 3-4 pay stubs would be safer
