Hi all! I tried real hard to find out whether my state, CT requires the credentials evaluation for FE exam? but FUBAR. :( I heard there are some states that don't require any evaluation. Do you know if your state requires the credentials evaluation, if you completed you Undergraduate from Nepal? Do you like to recommend any agency for this purpose? If you have any experience, knowledge, links, thoughts, please share. Many Thanks.

eventually you gonna have to do credential evaluation. some states do not require evaluation if you have masters degree from US school. go to www.cpees.org which will be helpful for your evaulation process. if you want to take FE without evaluating your degree, you can do so with many states, such as michigan, louisiana, texas, arizona just to name a few. however, there are states which requires you to evaluate your transcript even to take FE exam, such as nebraska, illinois, viriginia, florida, if i am not wrong.

are you sure all these services are approved for all states in US? i heard some states approved the evaluation done from cpees only.

Not 100% certain about that buddy, you can always ask your state's license board. These names were provided to me by Oklahoma St. Bd. of Licensure for Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors.( i'm in OK btw) My thinking is they should be good in most of the states.

FE, They took around 3 months to send my evaluation report. AACRAO will only ask for photocopies of your previous transcripts. They contact your undergrad school and order (if needed) copy of your originals on their own (should be one reason for being slow).

Not sure about other states but Virginia accepts evaluation from CPESS only.

yes i also heard cpees.org is the only agency whose evaluation will be acceptable to all states.

HI 2 ALL Attend the FE from Michigan State. Just fill the form and attend the exam. Don't need 2 provide any document.
