if you are in a relationship and just could not resist peeking into this thread, congratulations and have a great valentine's day with your other half.unfortunately, i am single this year and rather than blaming hallmark, hersey and others from profiteering in the name of love, i am trying to reach out and find someone to go out this saturday. if you think, i am the biggest looser in the world... fine, you are entitled to your opinion. but, here is the skinny....i am a guy in the age range of 26 - 30 living in southern minnesota.  very single!! looking for a single lady in the same general area to go out with on saturday for a dinner and a movie or skating under the moon or a trip to the planetarium to gaze at the stars... yes, it's cold here but your company will certainly warm us bothif you're interested, shoot me an email at cingle.guy@gmail.com and we will go from there.. .

Hey Cingle.guy, hope you managed to meet the one you're looking to date on V-day. If you have..Congrats! If you haven't...then just go with anyone you know who cares for you, someone whose company you enjoy...and it doesn't have to be a single woman.  Love can happen any time, any place, any day...not necessarily only on V-day. Just enjoy yourself with whoever is around you. The right single woman will soon come into your life when you least expect it. That is more important than having someone to date on V-day. Why not buy a big, big box of chocolates (worth the price of an expensive date) and distribute it to all the poor destitutes who live in the slums nearby? If you show your love to others, love will surely find you very soon. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, MY FREN!

Mr. Bishal, Please mind your language before pointing fingers at people. Don't try to be judgmental here. We're talking about today not who dated how many girls in the past. My numbers may surpass yours. I have never worked more than 40 hours here and did start my career from big names.......not gas station.....never. As such, you must be able to respect the labour and people's dignity. We're here discussing about our trends in terms of opinion, expression and openness and the transformation or may be paradigm shift we need for that. However, your suggestion to better marry in Nepal than here is praiseworthy as I've also seen cases of not-so-happy people. Most importantly and unlike you said, Love is not something you beg for......it comes from within and can happen anywhere.

Bishal, I am very happy for you but you don't really have to rub it in. And, it's not fair to label nepali girls in the US as having issues. When you can have a multi-cultural dating history (which you openly flaunt about), why is it wrong for a nepali girl to do the same? wake up bro - it's 2009!!! for the record, i have been in relationship in the past. i am single this year and just approached it differently. i didn't get any emails and i am not suprised. i know it is very intimidating to write to somebody and say, "sure, i will take your offer" without even knowing who the person is. Nevertheless, i am glad i tried it. Now, i can cross it off my bucket list. happy valentine's day to you all.
