TelegraphNepal writes: Ex-King Gayendra left for Shivapuri Jungle in the outskirts of the capital Kathmandu towards the north, mid-day January 4, 2009. Reports say that Nepal’s ex-King Gyanendra before heading for Shivapuri Jungle had asked the Armed Police Battalion stationed at the Nagarjun Palace to stay away from him as he enters into the Jungle Resort. The Shivapuri Jungle is under the direct control of the Nepal Army and say reports the former monarch is expected to hold serious discussion with army top-brass at the Shivapuri Resort Hotel which is also talked to be under the NA protection.
