What if the husband is NRN and recently got married but wife seeks for divorce? Also their marriage is not registered.? My bro is in the same situation. He just got married 4 months back and his wife is asking him for divorce. He holds a US passport and their marriage is not registered. Does anyone know about this?

Are you kidding ? How can anyone establish the existence of a marriage when it was not registered at all in the first place ? Far from being considered a marriage, it would not even qualify as a common-law union. Sounds more like a short term girlfriend-boyfriend relationship. No one, including the law, gives a shit if two enter or walk out of a girlfriend-boyfriend relationship.

This is real man. They got married in February and it was arranged marriage but the problem is that my bro is saying that he got no feelings for her so dosnt talk to her. They lived together for about two weeks and he couldn't build feelings towards her. Now knowing this fact, sister in law is asking for divorce. So what you think would be the best course in this situation?

I thought The thread creator proving his feed back , it turns out some one dug past thread and pinned it. You should write your side of the story and some one will provide how much merit you have or your spouse has. How much if your wealth will be divided? If you have children, without father / mother is like orphan.
