There is a place called Lai lai dumpling house; but ended up trying something else instead of dumpling and didn't like the atmosphere inside.  In the same vicinity (Bellaire Blvd.), there'are many chinese restaurants (I guess you already know it) which serve many kinds of dumplings (steamed or fried) that is not bad at all. There's another place called dumpling king at westheimer which I've not tried yet, and planning to go soon; gyozas are not bad either. Haven't tried momo place at the indian restaurant at westheimer which keeps on making threads on sajha.

Chinese dumplings are not bad either. They are delicious as well.
