Chiyapasale! That was a nice song. I have listened to it before I think. Vocals sounds like that of Crossroads but the melody somewhat resembles a Nepathya song which is as follows: Samhali dina - Nepathya

This song brings back the memories of Nepal well before the Civil War ensued. It was a heaven on earth back then. Asha Bhosle sings for movie Koseli. It's high time that the Nepali movie industry bestowed a special award to her for her contribution to our movies.

The default Nepali song for female dance performers since the release of the movie:

When they are too many 'bandhas', demonstrations, and then interventions by security forces, even contemporary songs take this kind of form.

A suggestion to the ANA Boston 2010 organizers: For the musical extravaganza part, Sanjeev (Sanjiv) Pradhan and his band can be a fabulous treat to the attendees if they are considered for the initial nomination at least. Their songs provide the right fusion of rock, pop, and nepali folk which should appeal to the nepali mass in general. Last edited: 10-Jul-09 11:19 AM

TM, IMO, I'd prefer seeing our own Dajeelingey boys, Mantra Band provide a dose of their 80's solo filled Glam Rock induced Hard Rock music to the ANA '10 attendees (perfect way to get the crowd pumping wild).  Below is just one of their many hits. Sanskrity: Mantra Band

Yo Samsara! Mantra Band sounds awesome too. Next one, a brilliant result of collaboration between Narayan Gopal and Shambhujit Baskota. Here is a commendable cover of same by ??
