Unfortunately, you have to rely on Big Tech (Monopoly) for this specific use case. You can find off-shoots and localized versions probably through regional publications, for example, De Moines Register for that specific area. Only these 3 comes to mind for Job Postings. You still have to skim and filter ghost postings: Linkedin Indeed Ziprecruiter And Glassdoor for job's branding information. Better Business Bureau to validate the authenticity of the Poster's Legal Entity if its Small Business.

Its hard luck to find entry to mid positions through job postings , these jobs are always taken by connections . So connection is the key, you cannot connect without sharing ur skills

Chens,I have not done it myself but Fiverr, Upwork or similar sites are where you can bid with your quote on small to larger projects. My understanding is your project-count, pay, and reputations will grow proportionally though your first successful bid might start from a paltry $50-100. If that's not appetizing enough you could find a local hybrid work that you can work 90+% remote once you have convinced your company boss of your productivity. Newly released remote jobs are flooded with 100+ applications within an hour of posting but if you can be in the first 20% pool of applicants with ample keywords matching, you could get lucky assuming the job-posting is not fake. The job-market, as it currently stands, is a hostage to Jerome Powell and the Fed's higher-for-longer interest-rate policy with a negative growth-rate for Q1 GDP in the backdrop. So, adapt accordingly.

Sojho_Bahun and Animo. True that. Everything is getting replaced by AI, and it is still in the early phase, but it won't be long before it will replace everything. Need to ride the AI boat before it sails. Look for hope and get something solid. So, searching for something remote. Got some certs on AI too. Hope it works out. So I will keep looking.
