@username The passport renewal service has been resumed. @suggestions You can get the appointment for biometrics by filling a form online. However you need to go in person to get the biometrics done and your picture taken. Also don't forget to bring the money order in person and not send it to the embassy. https://us.nepalembassy.gov.np... @suggestions it's for biometrics purpose. You can't do your biometrics online lol

I know biometrics can't be done online. I said last time I didn't have to go in-person. I was wondering it has been changed after that.

Yes it has been changed. They have resumed passport renewal after fixing malware attack

Renewed my passport today at DC, new passport estimated arrival - 45 days from today   Things I took at DC -   Old passport original and copy.  Citizenship original and copy   Printed appointment form   USPS priority return mail envelope   paid $150 there via Debit card   They take photos there and the finger prints for biometrics!!
