Trump said he will not pick following persons in any position, he has been childish and shows a sign of advance Alzheimer. He cares much not positively to them otherwise Trump would not be talking about them. Ritu: stop imaging it, we will see and hear every day in his presidency. yes Logan, Trump now possesses the trifecta of power, and republicans have announced intentions to cut Social Security, the ACA, VA benefits, and Medicare, as well as to raise the retirement age to 70. Furthermore, there are discussions about ending no-fault divorce, which could significantly affect women's rights. He has also claimed he will end the Ukraine war within 24 hours of his election, even before taking office. His cabinet appointments are warmongers and controversial figures. I feel hopeless for USA, I hope I am wrong

Technically Trump could get the GOP Congress to pass taxing and spending provisions in ACA, Medicare and so forth since taxing and spending provisions only require simple majority in the US Senate to pass. Statues not related to taxing and spending are much harder to pass in the US Senate since they require super-majority (60 votes) to pass in the US Senate, unless either the Democrats in the Senate decide to give the GOP helping hands or the GOP decides to nuke the current filibuster rules of the Senate. If Matt Gaetz actually becomes the US AG (which is possible but still doubtful), weed and magic mushrooms could finally become legal at federal level. Since rescheduling drugs does not require legislation by US Congress and can be done administratively by the DOJ and the White House likely via presidential Executive Order.
