Low Re-registration ================= Rates Nearly 50% of eligible beneficiaries from several countries failed to re-register for TPS Confusion and Legal Impact ======================= Confusion due to litigation (Ramos v. Mayorkas and Bhattarai v. Mayorkas) led to misunderstandings about re-registration. Other Immigration Benefits ======================= Some beneficiaries may not re-register due to obtaining or applying for other immigration benefits. DHS Re-registration Policy ======================= DHS extended re-registration periods for operational reasons and confusion among TPS beneficiaries.
