There was a meeting with lawyers from imperial law few weeks ago and they said they are more lenient about ur case now a days and often make u sign that you lost it wont be using it in the future and move forward. Just about every friend and relative who have renounced their old nagarikta for the "NRN citizenship" have now expressed their regret. Issues/laws/rules regarding banking, PAN card, drivers license, property purchase etc for the new NRN citizens were supposed to have been made clearer during the current parliamentary session, but as expected, the bulk of this session is being used up for "बाँडफाँड, सत्ता, एक अर्काको पोल खोल्ने, फाइल खोल्ने" etc etc. NRNs had pinned their hopes on Mr Lamichhane who has had personal experience with Nagarikta issues, but he too is obviously busy fighting allegations of सहकारी ठगी . The worthless piece of paper known as " गैर आवासिय नागरिकता" currenly has no value.  There are thousands of NRNs who are still quietly banking, buying property and conducting other transactions with their old nagarikta. Thamelean, if you are going to use ur old nagarikta then it's best not to go with nrn ctzp route at all. They make u renounce ur old ctzp and void ur records. Just don't bother with nrn ctzp till then.

NRN citizenship was mentioned for less than 2 minutes, and that too towards the tail end of the 26 minute video. Sadly there was nothing substantial - just flowery politician talk from Lamichhane ji. We have all heard such meaningless reassurances before.

Individuals like SAJALSHAKYA pose a significant threat to our society. Though they may present themselves as kind and considerate, their kindness is self-serving. They are opportunists, constantly seeking to benefits from all situation for their own gain. Thats why they are the first to post any tps , assylum related bakwas news here . IF your parents were able to ensure you had two meals a day, give you an education, and even sell their land to send you to the USA, they accomplished all of this while living in Nepal. Yet, you find yourself unable to repay their efforts while staying in Nepal. Why is that? Because your mentality is narrow and lacks maturity. Nepali men should take a hard look in the mirror and set aside their pride. And another thing, and we being a native Nepalese, it is our duty in foreign lands to assist the weak and less fortunate.
