Saturday, August 26th 2023 It's still monsoon season here. Raining everday. It's now chily in the afternoon here in Kathmandu. Most of the highways get obstructed every other day due to landslides. The price of tomatoes and onions are now sky high thanks to India. We have new kandas everyday. Last month was Bhutani, Bhatbhateni sahuji kanda then gold smuggling and now there is a new kanda of another land scam deal in Oli's neighborhood. Deuba still reigns supreme and so does our national bhauju, Arzoo Maharani Deuba. They have managed to transfer the top cops investigating the Bhuanti refugee crisis to other desk jobs for now. Corruption index is still sky high at 99.99%. Private hospitals and schools continue to fleece students and patients while our politicians are busy attending dance programs and ribbon-cutting ceremonies every other day Events for this week here in Kathmandu: Himalayan Arts Festival, Babarmahal till August 30th.
