In any big city where subway systems have been built, it is very common to see private property and private buildings standing on top of existing underground subway. But I don't think I've seen private property and private buildings standing on top of existing rivers.

Exactly! Now I kinda believe that Tukucha Khola been siphoned under the ground in the Palace area for sewerage. Why can’t any one produce images? There could be other rivers and streams that have been encroached, May be not so much Tukucha. It’s just my viewpoints and I could be wrong
