I am a US citizen in IT discipline. I only get calls from desi companies. Is this because of my name? I hate to work in desi companies.

is your resume in Dice.com ? I used to get a lot from those and asked where they got my details, most would say from dice.com. I immediately removed from resume from there. A piece of advice, don't use your main email/phone number in your resume.
