Santos took the shot on August 25th and was hospitalized four days later with venous thrombosis in her left leg. Jummai Nache: 47-Year-Old Medical Assistent Had Left Hand, Right Fingers and Both Legs Amputated Shortly After Receiving Second Pfizer Vaccine Jummai Nache, a 47-year-old medical assistant from Minneapolis lost both of her legs and left hand after her Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination. Nache got her second shot on February 1st and immediately experienced chest pains. She was hospitalized on February 13th after blood clots were found throughout her entire body. Both her legs below the knees and most of her hands had to be surgically removed or she would’ve died. Well,Independent and Jogesh, You guys are gonna hate me but yeah, I got my third booster shot too. Now if my leg gets amputated for any blood clots then you all will know as I will share the experience myself, but if I bite the dust because of all these needles poking to my body, then I won't be here to share that experience, obviously. One question to you both though, I keep on wondering how you guys have been able, so far, to evade this mandate of the vaccinations in places like work-place or airports? I can imagine both of you are working from home and not going anywhere currently, but what about in future? Are you guys gonna give up on this no-vaccination clause then? What if you have some family emergencies and have to travel right away, but the airport authorities want you fully vaccinated or your work demands vaccination proofs? How you gonna fight it then? Over the span of an hour and a half, Claire had to be revived by hospital staff two more times. And only a few hours later, she was placed on continuous dialysis because of her failing kidneys. While all of this was going on, pressure was building in her legs and not allowing blood flow. Ultimately, it was decided the damage to her legs was too severe and irreversible — they needed to be amputated. Both her legs were surgically removed on Friday. Wayne wrote on Facebook: “When the moment came to let her know about losing her legs the doctor handled it beautifully but held nothing back. Claire whispered ‘I want Bionic legs‘ and smiled.” The 20-year-old had both her legs surgically removed on Friday. Her dad is hopeful she will be able to continue her fight and do what she loves. “We just know it’s a long road of recovery with the surgery she’s having, so we just hope that everyone holds her up with prayer.” Two different GoFundMe pages were created to help with medical and living expenses. So far, more than $90,000 has been raised between the two fundraising pages. One page reads in part: “Claire was admitted to Tampa General Hospital on Sunday, January 16th, with severe leg pain and Covid. Yes, she was vaccinated!”
