Independent, In my case, gone are the days when I used to do some "critical thinking" over any matter of national interest, but now if you ask me, I have given up on thinking critically because I am just worried about paying my bills and saving enough for rainy days. Already I feel like I am well behind on many aspects of life when I look at my counterparts, and to think or say ruminate over some concerning issues like you bring up every now and then, I feel I am flexing my brain muscles and giving them hard time. Still, you find so much energy and time to put forth your points, kudos to you. Will chime in, when I feel the need.

They will provide spare change to keep the people on welfare or making just enough to survive so that they can enjoy their multi billion dollar lifestyles. Just think about the vaccine industry who have almost made trillion dollar profit in the past 3 years. It is better represented by the numbers 1,000,000,000,000 that is 1million million dollars. That is enough to buy a lot of things and a lot of media and politicians. The elites want to live like gods and keep the rest of the world serving for them working day in day out for low pay or on welfare so that noone complains too much or tries to challenge their way of life. Obviously they are untouchables but still the greed for more and more money and power never ends so the vaccine industry is perfect example of their growing powers. At first they promised a vaccine which people thought like polio vaccine. One dose would provide immunity. With media they own they scared the people so much that people are now willing to take 2, 3, 4 vaccines no problem. The more the vaccines the more the profit. And the cycle of greed will never end and the gullibility of people will never end.

So Independent, what is your intent then?- create awareness among some people like me who is caught up in this rat race of survival? - or vent out your frustrations of not being able to do anything against these so called "elites"? As a layman, what should I be doing? I understand that It is very hard to convert the already hardened thought processes, the preconceived notions in general people. Until and unless they attempt to see the whole picture themselves, not many of them are friendly with the conversion and the people intending to convert you. I will tell you one incident that happened to my life in the past. One fine morning, somebody knocked at my door, and turned out these people were from Jehovah's witness family. They came with their own bible and started reading out some passages and me being this helpless guy unable to be rude, listened to what they were saying and reading out. Eventually they started coming every Saturday and ended up in my living. I was given a task every week to read a passage from their books and refer to their bible and be ready for discussion. They even invited me to their church. I am a born Hindu and here these people were hell bent in converting me and telling me that there is only one God, the rest are just BS. I was expecting they would be friendly with other religions, sects and beliefs but they were not! There are a lot of 'flaky' things I can talk about them, but may be some other time. Over here I was feeling suffocated after some months of this drill going on. I was not feeling anything at all in me, no revelation, no "epiphany" as such. I just wanted out and in the mean time, this whole Covid thing started and they stopped coming home, they kept calling and leaving messages but I ghosted them. They were trying to do the meetings through Webex, and I was like "Really"? Last thing I remember about them was them sending me a hand written letter which I never opened to avoid feeling any guilt. That was it for me. The analogy I am trying to draw in here is that people will listen to you, but that is not the only purpose they want to fulfill in their lives. People have aspirations, 'greed' like you said, lust for love, sex, power and what not. A lot of times, your say, your beliefs and your passion they do not match with the ones on the other side meaning they would not resonate that well, then you will have hard time to find your audience who are like-minded like yourself. But still, I like to hear out all kinds of viewpoints and also do some of my own soul searching and analysis. In this process, I remember watching 'Fast Food Nation' (2006) and heard much about this movie called 'Vaxxed' (2016) through a friend who thinks like you. Haven't seen the second one though, if you could, do give them a chance. Well, long story short, I keep very open mind to every kind of stories or conspiracies, but I am just a gullible human being, what change can I make if I really join you in this crusade of yours? Tell me.

Anyway, in my initial days of attending college in US, one class that I cherish all the time was called, 'World Religions' and the book we were referring to for that class was 'God is Not One' by Stephen Prothero. (javaskript:nicTemp();) While in Nepal, I thought I knew much about the different religions around the world, but soon realized how ignorant I had been after taking this class. I did a report on Bahaism for this class and it was quite an enriching experience meeting people who follow that belief and interact with their rituals in person. That was the time! Bennedict Don't reply to shallow and hollow people like sanaklal. They do not have the intelligence to back up any of their statements and are simply trolling most of the time. We are taught to be nice when we are young so it's difficult for us to say no. So I understand your episode with the Jehova's witness. We have to grow up and realize that we just don't have time for everything. God is a construct of the human brain. Without humans there is no god. But technically speaking, God is personification of nature which makes all creation possible. People who fight about which god is better are just not intellectually bright and they are being used by religious leaders as pawns to ensure their religious powers remain intact.

Hey ujl,Good post! I am not a philosopher really. I already stated it that I am a born Hindu and I worship and respect all my deities since I was small. Also would like to add that I had some supernatural experiences in my life that made me to follow and venerate the tons of Gods and Goddesses that Hindus have. But having said that I do not deny the existence of other beliefs, faith or rituals of around the world either. Letting Jehovah's witnesses inside my house was an example of how open I have been with other counterparts, but didn't end up well, that's another story. Well! Some things that caught my attention from your post were: The post is in Sanskrit, which I believe is one of the oldest languages, originally people in the olden days used to write 'vedas' and 'upanishedas', right? There at the time, they were using the language to write all the grandeur of Gods and Goddessess and their "lilas", and here you have posted a composition in Sanskrit that is talking about only a single, mysterious and inexplicable existence of super power. This is quite interesting! To know that somebody has written this in Sanskrit! If you could explain your understanding about the surroundings and the (potential) triggers of this composition further, I would be obliged. Just a small story, Laxmi Prasad Devkota was an atheist lifelong, and you can see his thoughts in his work as well, but you know when he was on his deathbed, something happened to him, he admitted the existence of God, especially Shri Krishna. Knowing about God can be a life long process, mate! @Independent The explanation of the existence of God(s) vary by different people and their groups and origins. Like for Muslims, it is all about reading holy skripts, as their God is formless unlike Hindus'. this topic can go on and on. I remember my school time, when one of my friends won the writing contest on 'God you believe in'. That topic was hard in itself for 7th graders at that time, but he was quite smart. I remember him writing at length about the God he believed in are the codes of conduct that he carries himself with and that which define him further. We were in awe of him. Good times!
