The recent news about 7days in hotel quarantine followed by 7 days in home isolation freak me out! I am totally confused at this moment. Can you please suggest me! I am fine as long as it’s only home quarantine! I am trying to go nepal after long time! How strict is hotel quarantine thing? It was implemented on last year too, i think. I would really appreciate if anyone can shed some experiences, pls. Thanks!

Same here! Flying to Nepal at the end of December. Not sure what to make of it. I am fine doing a quarantine at my own house but this restriction on quarantining at a hotel, especially for fully Vaccinate individuals, is just too much. I do understand it a precautionary measure but I think it's going too far and is very restrictive. Love to hear from folks who've made trips to Nepal recently and understand how they keep track of quarantining individuals.

Given the current state of Omicron variant, should we have confidence for air travel to Nepal at the end of December? The main worry is that the travel duration would be for 2 to 3 weeks only. If quarantine requirement is enforced, there would not be much time left for other things as such. Also, where can I find the requirements at Tribhuvan International Airport? My recent( NOV 21) travel experience to Nepal regarding document 1) PCR Result 2) Vaccine Card 3) CCMC form filled and printed out before travel ( Barcode must) .. it will be checked during onboarding 4) Valid Passport ..( daaa) 5) No quarantine was needed although the ccmc form asks where are you planning to stay 6) Enjoy your time ... ....... Not sure if anything has changed since..... Enjoy your time ..dont think too much... if anything happens ... you are smart enough to tackel..but first let it happen.... For the onward travel to Nepal, should the PCR be valid for 72 hours or 24 hours? For flying back to US, it needs to be valid in the last 24 hours for travel after December 6th.
