I wasted 12 years of my life in Nepal gaining education that has no value! Went to a so called "Boarding School" where they put bunch of people in one classroom from 10 AM to 4 PM to teach weird stuff like how to be competitive in this world, get good grades, and get a good job. What a waste of my time! Education in Nepal has become some kind of preparation for a job oriented society. The modern education in Nepal doesn't help build good character at all. Everybody is taught to be successful in life and I wonder if the teacher knows what being successful mean! Not only in Nepal, the education system in many countries are like this. The system is put to produce skillful laborers who are happy to be a slave to a 9 to 5 jobs. I see no simplicity, no humility in modern people whether it be at Nepal or at other so called developed nations. People brag about their degrees, getting a date has become extremely hard without a degree, and people have become zombies staring at their cell phone screen all the time. I believe Nepal and entire world needs a radical shift in the education system. As Krishnamurti said, "The crisis is the crisis of consciousness," I do believe that the time has now come to act and heal this planet. However, healing cannot happen with the same level of awareness. One has to believe and experience different level of awareness that a human mind is capable of. The word "Bhagawan" is composed of two words - Bhaga and wan. Bhaga refers to certain higher qualities and "waan" referes to those who possess those qualities. Depending on what qualities you posses, you behave like that. Bhagawan behaves like bhagavan because they possess certain higher qualities. Their knowledge has become one with Prakriti- meaning their actions and their understanding are in perfect alignment. However, this is not the case with most humans because of perverted mind as a result of rotten education system. Now, the questions is can human become like God? The answer is - Yes, they can. However, one must be willing to sacrifice lower attributes and bring forth higher qualities. These higher qualities will always respect the natural harmony between people and Prakriti. If human can be like God, what are we waiting for? However, a radical shift in education system is required to bring this change. The modern education system has made most people cold and robotic. I believe that an education system that teaches simplicity, humility, and non-violence is the need for next coming decades if we want to live in harmony and a well balanced life. In fact, it is security and fulfillment in life that humans are running after in this job oriented society. What if someone tells you that you can never get permanent security and fulfillment from the external world? Where are you running after like a mad-man seeking this and that? For what? Let's relax, and try to be simple, humble, and compassionate. Let there be awakening! OM TAT SAT.
