Yup came back today and my port of entry was Abu dhabi! The officer asked me the purpose of my visit, took me to secondary inspection room and stamped my AP. I enjoyed my flight back to USA as i didn't have to worry about going through long lines at customs. Good luck!!

They made me wait for about 10 minutes since my flight was the first one to depart Abu Dhabi and the officer asked me if I was carrying wai wai noodles lol

Abu Dhabi has Preclearance so you clear the immigration at Abu Dhabi airport before you fly to USA. Quick immigration and less hassle!

@ nash : So there will be no second inspection here in US airport. Aren’t u supposed to be inspected here after u land here...

@Tom jerry i only took my advance parole with me. But if you have your Ead you can take that too. @Cocomandrake000 after you clear the immigration at Abu dhabi your flight to USA will be treated as Domestic so you can go directly to baggage claim or to the next connecting flight.
