Hi, I had seen a thread about CA driver license renewal but now I can't find it. I am trying to renew my driver license from CA by using TPS. I don't have TPS EAD and last TPS approval date doesn't include March 2020. How do I resolve this? How can I renew my driver's license using previous TPS? I need to travel soon.

Not sure if you're referring to this thread: http://sajha.com/sajha/html/in... DL renewal doesn't require anything so as long you're renewing within same class (i.e. regular DL / REAL ID). If you're moving from regular DL to a REAL ID, you'll have to visit DMV. At this point, I'm assuming Fed notice should be enough.

yes , I was. thanks. I got an update but I couldn't renew my driving license based on TPS and I don't have a new TPS EAD. It was in CA .

My license got renewed based on tps yesterday from california. I had not reapplied new tps or ead so i just took the printed federal register notice and old I797. First they were hesitant and kept asking for newer documents which i told them we dont need new documents and that everything they need will be on the FRN. They told me to talk to the manager/supervisor and she just checked the dates and stuff regarding nepal tps on her computer. Immediately it was a green light. I wasnt asked any more questions and they renewed it.
