It’s combination of Dream Act & American Promise Act which includes all 13 TPS & DED countries for permanent residency. So all TPS folks get ready to lobby for this bill with your reps at your constituents.

Per my math, it will easily pass in House. Senate has 53-47 Republican majority and Marco Rubio, Rick Scott and some others are in favor of TPS for certain South American countries. If they can be persuaded to vote for the bill , this bill has legit chance to pass both chambers of House until Stephen Miller brainwashes Trump and he vetoes it.

@ Mangale Nepal being not included in the list of the countries is worrysome... Noone knows what is going with the lawsuit filed on behalf of Nepal.

@kopilam the bill being introduced does include all TPS countries as well as DED countries (13 together). The only question is whether it will get many signatures & co-sponsors and enough votes to pass through the House, Senate and eventually to the Trump desk.

@ Mangale i spoke to my lawyer and he said the judge hasnt issued a clear verdict on Nepal’s extension so its unclear at this time. If you have any updates please fill us in.
