how do i find out if someone was married before and got divorced. I tried couple of online sites like Persopo.com and idtrue.com. they are not worth it.

Each state has a court circuit website. You can find it there if a divorce has been filed.

I am not sure why it matters if someone was married and got divorced. A relationship is based on trust and love. If you already distrust her and her previous marital status matters so much, I suggest not to get involved at all.
