Hello, i have a pending asylum and TPS. If my employer is willing to file anything for me to get GC, whats the process? Before TPS, I was an asylum applicant. Since I am not in H1B status, do my employer still have to file all those documents? Any insights will be much appreciated.

H1b is not necessary. But pending asylum is not a status so they will create problem during the 485 which is adjustment of status

I am in same boat. You have to go through counselor processing in third country for last stage. I am not sure how complicated the process is. But I talked with couple of experirnce lawyers and all of them said adjustment of status cant be done here as asylum pending is counted as out of status. Let me know if you have nay other information
