Hi everyone, So I am here to ask some questions related to new policies about public charge. I am F1, got married to GC.My application is under process. I have been using obama care subsidies for my health insurance as a dependent . So,as I read new policies, What you guys will there be any problem for me while adjusting my status? Thank you

The policy clearly mentions that it won't effect people who used services before it comes into effect . Once the rule is finalized you should give it up. It still gonna leave take 5 months for it to become finalized

Flicker, I think the bill won't affect ACA subsidy and only affect medicaid, isnt' it?

ACA is technically Medicaid. Insurance subsidy for people under a certain income. The details on this policy are not clear yet but would suggest stopping any sort of programs that are considered under the social programs. With this administration, you never know!!
