@kafalPakyo: my uncle/aunt flew with China Southern recently. they can barely speak in English (just few words here and there) but made it fine to the US and back home. I think your parents will be fine. If they're coming to the US for the first time, make sure you give them clear instructions on things like finding gate for connecting flights, filling out customs form, etc. And most likely, there will be someone taking the same flights from KTM to US. Hopefully your parents will meet them during layover in China...that'll make things a little easier for them.

Dhanyabad Sathiharu, much appreciated. I think China Southern will be a safe bet. On a different note, if anyone is traveling to Nepal in the first week of January from DFW using China Southern please let me know. I'm planning to book the flight tomorrow.

Many Nepalese travel by China southern.I have travelled to USA KTM USA from China southern airlines. I have seen many nepalese buwa muwa travelling from this airlines

Transit visa will be provided on arrival and it's free for 24hrs. I travelled from CSA last year, I do not recommend it for elderly ppl and ppl with kids, because of their transit procedures, luggage handling, CS, and delay. For experianced travellers with light bags, who want to experiance new food, culture and wanna roam around china with free visa ..go for it.
