What about those people, who came here legally, climbed their way through the ladder, worked their a$$ off, paid taxes and still waiting many years for GC? IMO, they should get priority first and all others should follow it.

Bro, it is more of an appeal and wishful thinking. There needs to be lot of changes in US immigration law for that to happen which doesn't seem to happen soon.
