Do you have any friends close by who goes to university or college? Usually university provides free Microsoft Office to students. You can ask him to log in from his student ID using your computer and download it.

If you are looking something, then spend some money. you can get monthly plan starting from $5/month or $199 for full version. Or, use online office its free (beggars can't be choosers)

You can get it for free if you know abcde of computer... Just google it.If you do not know, that is another story. Basically, you do not have to do any thing but it expires in every 6 months but there will be a task scheduler which automatically, without your any touch, in back ground, renews for another 6 months, and so on.
