Hi, Everyone Happy New Year!!! I had a question in regards to my Driver’s license. My license is from MN and I have a status check date for this month. My OPT expired this year and I am waiting for my H1 results or TPS extension. I wanted to know if any of you are or were in this situation and what documents did you provide to the DMV to have the status check extended? My license status is valid and my Driver’s license expires in 6/2019.Any suggestion and help will be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your response. But what will happen to my drivers license until i hear the date for the TPS extension. My status check expires 4/14 this month. Will my license be suspended or will it be on hold until i provide my documents? Thank you

Your current tps/ead is valid until June so you can take it to them in the interim.
