After reading his article, I completely agree with him. The way we treat tourists is bad. I have seen this many times when I am in Nepal and always feel bad for those tourists.

Since when is calling a person or country a "shithole" racist. People need to stop thinking everything is racist. grow some balls!!! Haiti and most of the african countries are shithole. If those countries are not shithole they why don't they wanna go back to "paradise"? When was the last time you heard someone say "Oohhh Haiti, i always wanted to go to Haiti"?.....Never. Shithole does not equal racist!!!!

Santa lil Helper, I get your point but it is not about comment itself but who delivered that comment. It was coming from president of most powerful nation on earth. It can have serious consequences. As a leader you can not just say whatever comes to your mind even if it is 100% right.
