If you have a Green Card, go online and find a job like everyone else in America. Yaha aune kaam chaina, if you are capable and fit to work in IT, you will get the job. If you don't get it, maybe you should be working somewhere else.

There is lot of other things you can do .IT is not the only option.Look at the syllabus of health care in any community college.With 6 month or 1 year of training in health care you can make decent money.Like Dental hyginist make more than 70k per year.there are lot of other things to do in heath care.Health care job is always in demand.Think about it

Why is it so hard for people to accept to their shortcomings and find a way to fix them? Why is it so hard to tell people to stop lying and cheating their way in to a job that will probably lead to more unemployment down the road? If you can't handle a simple conversation and choose to stay in your own litte world of make belief then I'm sorry you won't do any better in life. Lastly, its not a big deal for students of Xaviers, BNKS (and other smart ppl from Nepal) to snag a six figure job here. In fact I'm probably very average among my classmates.

I said "you .ca man"...to the guy who was giving me unsolicited advise in his prior messages...look how he was assuming different things while the question of the thread is simply asking people if they know of any places that provide IT training to gc holders...peiple could have either provided the addresses to such places of just don't respond or provide alternative options like you just did and which is cool....i was just irritated with some of these IDs...who went few steps further on the topic...

It used to work in the past but I have not tested lately... So give a try and lets see. To block a person so that they do not hijack your post: If you are the post originator, go and delete the unwanted post, once you delete, that user cannot post again on that Post... If you are not the post originator, you can flag the unwanted post, the user cannot post again on that post if 10 flags are received so basically 10 users have to flag to the unwanted post.. However, I do not know if the flagging works if you are the originator of the post and 10 users flag it...

If you tell the consultancy that you have GC, they will most likely make you pay before the training starts. That is because consultancy do not have to worry about your papers and any consultancy will take you in .So either make the payment first or you got to start lying from begining like you are on other visa , probably opt . You can call almost any consultancy and most of them do provide training and accommodation ,but keep in mind that training itself can not make you very competitive for 5-6 years of profile. Also the accommodation they provide will probably be shitty. QA these days are pretty intense as manual testing wont give you that much of opportunity. Automated testing requires coding skills. So , if you do not have any IT background, I suggest you to look for BA . If you have decent communication skills, you should be fine.

Sathi haru, thanks...yeso herdia....all these options look good but now Hanuman...has given new lead to look into health care industry .. like dental hygienist or optical assistant (chasma banauni)...or something where Its easy to find employment through Craigslist or perhaps later buy small business from someone who is retiring etc.....so....ahile IT..lai sideline ma rakxu...and will look into these less than a year courses...but I hope ki yo thread will be useful..take care guys..and thank you all once again
