Tapaile kun category ma GC process garnu bhayeko thaha bhayena but if u are already in US, TPS or any other visa, and for some reason employer happen to file as counselor processing, u can always file I485 (Adjustment of Status). This will port your CP to AOS, if may be extra money but the benefit will be you don't need to attend interview or visit home country for visa processing, they will send you GC at your home address in US. If the process is pending you can apply EAD/AP and travel without any issues. Hope this helps. And Counselor processing is also good. if its already approved, it will be faster if you go to Nepal right away.
