maharaj, let me give you my thoughts in the nature, generally speaking, strength determines who controls. so in animal kingdom, some species female are stronger, where as others have physically stronger male. but for the most part they dont give a darn after mating is over. in human things are different- Mr scientist might have spoken for his society, class, or financial status. truth is, if the family is financially stronger as in they own some assets, women usually determines the use and sale of that asset in a married relationship. but if the situation is like some parts of nepal, then female even thought considered stronger by mr scientist, gets abducted and sold/forced. if married, women usually tolerate because face of their child's future prevent them from leaving.
