Thats not true. I have many friends who are either asylum applicant or asylees working in IT.

Yes. If you are asylum applicant, your employer can still sponsor you for a green card.

Thank you. How legit is the information you gave. Sorry if it offends you but I need to know in a serious note. My asylum case is pending and if I want to have someone who can sponsor me then what are the chances to get approved and what happens to my asylum case. Much appreciated!!!

My roommate while in college works in IT and his employer sponsored him for a green card. His asylum got approved so he got his gc through it.
