Per his experience: It took him around 20 months right from the beginning. You have to go through all the process that you would go with for-profit organization. Only thing is there is very very minimal chance of getting audited if you go by non profit. He had hired a good lawyer who did everything for him. Office/organization paid the application fees for I-140 and I-485. Labor certification took about 5 months and once you filed the I-485, it took about 5 months to receive your card. If you need anything else in specific, you can pm me.

I have heard that if number of employees are minimal then they would ask for audit despite the fact that it is a non profit. How true is it? In my case there are only 10-15 employees and it is a small non governmental organization. Based on his experience, do you think they can be eligible to sponsor me? Plus it a small NGO. And also lawyer ko paisa matra uniharulay tirdincha baki chai maile afai tirnu parchha so that is why I am little skeptical to spend the money and also my lawyer is expensive.

He paid the lawyer cost and rest all other application fees were paid by his office Last edited: 06-Mar-17 09:13 AM
