I heard Danish Embassy issue shengen visa faster than other embassy i dont think u need to give fingerprint for shengen visa application only UK require a fingerprint for visa application I lived in Europe for several years before i move to US you should really visit Europe espically Amsterdam and Paris

I would suggest you to apply at the embassy of the country where you intend to stay the most. If you are just travelling around Europe, then apply to the first country you will enter. Also, England needs a separate visa and does not fall under Shengen Visa. Just a heads up. You can apply via mail and just send passport through mail. I did that and got the visa without any problem via mail. Having ticket will definitely be beneficial. Also, show proof of travel insurance and financial documents. That should do it.
