F-1 and TPS

Hi, I am new to Sajha! I like to ask for helping. I am graduating this semester and I am thinking about applying for OPT as well as TPS for the first time but if TPS is approved, then my status is still F-1? What is my status after TPS is approved? I would appreciate if you assist. Thanks
