Postal service is another Custom to make money. People who works there know how to milk a male cow. It is our gene can not be altered until another century. Those who were unable to milk a ox are in middle east and all over the world.

Magorkhe1 - Thanks for the input. Corruption is definitely a big problem, but not just in the postal sector. Perhaps CIAA can do something about the corruption that is so prevalent in the said sector. But seriously, Nepal needs a good reform in the postal sector. Perhaps it can learn from other countries. With increasing online sales of good in Nepal, Nepal Post Office (NPO) postal service can tap into that by providing courier services to these online vendors (for example, currently online sellers in site like Kaymu.com.np, charge like 50 rupee for delivery). There are many other ways that NPO can increase its revenue so it can pay its employees with better salary and also make itself more efficient.
