Yes i agree Puppet, Chef, Ansible or Salt Stack would be more important than Jira. Knowing work flow of Jenkins and Jira would be also helpful to become a good DevOps Engineer.

Well I don't know for what reason Jira is tagged as VIP among chef, puppet , ansible. I know it sounds funny and meanwhile dramatic when you convert yourself with the title of engineer within 3 months 😀 . As a matter of fact, I want to learn some playbooks and minions if there is free class going on, however , I will not participate in free accommodation and free lunch , hope that makes sense. Thank you.

Not sure when dotnet started to get mixed with ansible and jira. Last I used jira I thought it was project/task management approach . Not sure what rev ops has much to do with jira other then may be creating automated task and updated. But any way there are hot key words in marked right now, so who ever know little bit all these with some code, they will get placed .
