TPS EAD valid until Aug 2017?

My TPS got approved few weeks ago and today i received my EAD and its valid until Aug 2017. I thought TPS ead is supposed to expire this year in Dec. Am I missing something?

Can you provide your application history? Two things might have happened in your case - 1) Usual USCIS error 2) It is a sign TPS will be extended. Even so, the expiry date should be 1.5 yrs until half of 2018 not a yr as TPS is usually extended for 6 months or 1.5 years.

Applied TPS in december last year. It was approved few weeks ago. EAD got approved Aug 24, was delivered today.

Don't worry be happy!! I assume if you had paid $380.00 for EAD it's not worth having it for just 4 months it's ur hard earned money, this is also a sign of possible extension.
