Why you typically looking for gas station job. That is really suspicious ! Unemployed persons always asks for , " I am looking for any kind of jobs ... motel, restaurants, donut/coffee shops, stores, gas station " . Driving uber/lyft can be one of the sources to work. And may be you can join some consultencies, get free training and accommodation till you get a job if you are interested , that's what I heard , they provide all that stuffs.
