Urgent Legal Help
Hey guys, I got my H1B picked, applied with my my old passport which is expiring in November 2016. I have applied for MRP passport and shipped the document in May 1st 2016. Will this create any problem in my H1B. Can someone answer me 1) Problems that may come? 2) What are the solutions? Thanks much.

I think as long as your old passport is valid, it should be okay to process the H1B document. you definitely need the mrp when you are visiting or flying from Nepal. Just call Nepal Embassy in USA and ask them.

There will be no problem regarding your H1 even if your current passport expires before you get your MRP which will take around 3 months to get. the only thing is you can't travel until u get MRP.
