No problem, I have an idea for you. You can start a service in Sajha. You see, many people in Sajha come and post questions without giving important details. For example, just the other day one guy wanted something in Arlington; problem is there are dozens of Arlington in US. A lady wanted to sell her sofa but didn't tell us where she lives. This frustrates many Sajhaites. You can invest that 10k and make an app/bot that reveals the location of the poster so other Sajhaites aren't left hanging. You can then ask SAN for payment for providing excellent service to the community. You will be your own client. You haven't told us where you are based and want us to help you with ideas. See, easy money.

BadhiJanne - rofl. On second thought, Shrey Sharma Jee since you had posted the question with your FB profile, I could sneaked into your FB profile and took a peek. Dare I say, your pics reminded of my cousin (brother). I will try to give my two cents worth of advice. You may ask if I generally do not throw advice to people who don't look like my cousin. No, I don't. I am assuming now you are in US because NPR 10K is a paltry sum to invest in Kathmandu to start a business. That is true for $10K in US as well. You already know business, anywhere, is susceptible to risk. Innovative ideas that try to address real problems need more lateral thinking and some experience with the context. You can try to research on ideas shared by other people in the Internet. I have been trying to read about those as well but I do not have guts to take risk neither do I have 10K to invest. I would definitely start looking at kickstarter.com Ideas like Grubhub and Braintree got their seed money from school based programs like Booth School of Business' Edward L. Kaplan New Venture Challenge (University of Chicago). I try to take sneak peek of major Entrepreneurship programs of big name schools. That is on ideas and thought processes. If I was going for a conventional businesses like established franchises and Gas Stations, I would work in one for at least a year (if I was new in US). E.g If I had plans to franchise a Subway (not that I can with $10K) I would start by working for one. I am pretty sure you are already doing that. A safe bet is to stay away from Multi Layer Marketing businesses that are actually financial pyramid schemes like Amway, PFA etc. and also stay away from bizbuy sell websites advertisement where they are selling HairCut Franchise for $5K.
