Currently, I am working for a small company owned by a kind-hearted man. He has even agreed to sponsor GC. BUT the work environment is shitty. The son of the boss man has a very stinky mouth and the HR woman is full blown redneck from a small hilly billy town. She treats employees as if she owns them and acts like the owner. Nobody likes her. I am thinking of quitting and staying on TPS and look for better opportunity. I cannot let anyone tread on my dignity just for the sake of GC. What will happen if I quit? I really don't want to go back. Any constructive suggestion will be much appreciated.

I will suggest to find new employer, transfer h1b and then quit. H1b is better than tps....

No matter how much it sucks for you right now, it's still smart to find a job first and quit. Start being aggressive finding a replacement job.
