Hello everyone I'm f1 and about to graduate in May. My parents tourist visa is declined twice in the past. They are not interested to try this time. I'm thinking to rather invite my fupu, she has helped my parents alot to raise me when I was little and I'm very attached to her, shes in her mid 50s, widow. I really want to show her this part of the world. I was wondering if anyone have tried to invite other than their parents for their graduation and what was their experience. Is the visa chances 50/50 like if it was for my parents or is it less likely? If it is worth to try, what kindof documents would you guys suggest for proof beside relationship verification from nagarpalika. I can't thinking of anything beside pictures which I think is not a very strong proof. Please share your advice and experience. Thanks in advance :)

musiclove, On your graduation you can invite any relatives. I had invited 3 other relatives besides my parents. Documents required for the interview are: invitation letter from ISO your invitation letter relationship document from vdc or municipality financial document of the sponsor property documents Most importantly reason that the person would come back to Nepal after certain period. To support this you can include employment vacation letters, business in Nepal etc. to prove your reasons. Hope this helps.

If your fupu financially stable (job,property) and if they think she back to Nepal . Then not issue at all. I think immediate relationship or little far not much difference. Try to show bank balance from your side too. Good Luck.

@musiclove , तपाई को आमा बुवा लाई पहिले किन visa reject गरेको? अहिले को graduation मा नै बोलाउदा रेजेक्त गरेको हो? मेरो आमा बुवा लाई पनि graduation मा बोलाउदा visa reject गरेको थियो २ पल्ट . अनि अहिले आमा बुवा ले separately apply गर्नु भयो अनि दुवै जानाले पाउनु भयो.

Thankyou everyone for your response @fromnepal: 1st time mero AS ko grad ko lagi n second time mero dai ko BS ko grad ko lagi recently in May. Separately vannale tapaiko graduationko lagi separately apply garnu vako? I would love to get more info.
