This is not meant for everyone working at Nepal Post Office at Sundhara, Kathmandu. However, there are many postal workers there who openly demand money from Nepali family in Kathmandu for packages sent from the US or Western countries even though all fees have been paid for, including customs fee. Don't these POS postal workers get their salary for their job that they have to resort to demanding money for delivering packages? Why should our family in Nepal pay to these thugs when we've already paid all fees here? I feel so angry at these people.

Also Nepali hulak workers do not deliver packages to home, they deliver a paper slip at the address mentioned in a package and then the recipient needs to go to the post office to get the package. It's there that the hulak workers give people headache. I don't think you can just get your package without paying any money (or bribe). It is like they hold our package as hostage, until our family pay them the ransom money. I guess they are so used to with the corruption that they don't even try to hide it anymore. Perhaps people need to start filming these hulak working asking for money, so that they would think twice before doing such things.

Chor nai chor cha Nepal ko government ma. Expire nabhayeko Passport (previously paid for) nai invalid garera new passport (MRP) lina bhaddya garecha nalayek haru le. MRP bhandai ma dine service ramro garye chaina, airport ko toilet samma pani safa chaina [Disallowed String for - use not allowed] haru ko. Yo sab ghush khor chor daaka haru ko commission khaane tactics thiyo, marna nasakeka chasee haru ko.
