I found out that I was eating a lot and spending 900-1000 a month for food monthly. Is it too much? Will I save money if i cook and eat at home?

I questioned the motto of this thread? Someone was talking , gee I am paying too much for my car insurance how much you guys pay for insurance, drive regular car like Camry or Accord and live in Suburb area ( Mercedes owner have to pay more). Same applies to your groceries shopping , each store charges differently for the same product. If you go to Whole Food you may be eating ORGANIC / Natural food and paying 3 times. On the top WHAT you eat and HOW you eat. A blueberry cost 5 per box and you are not eating a box a day? If you are then I will suggest to change your eating habit. Bottom line is you can afford to pay that much and paying for it, you are blending Capitalism and fitting right very well.
