mavni eligibility :.................... GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1.Applicants must be in one of the following categories at the time of their enlistment: Non-immigrant categories E, F, H, I, J, K, L, M, O, P, Q, R, S, T, TC, TD, TN, U or V Asylee, refugee, Temporary Protected Status (TPS) Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) 2.Applicants must legally reside in the United States for a minimum of two years prior to joining the Army (excluding DACA) without a single absence from the country lasting longer than 90 days 3.Applicants must have a high school diploma and a qualifying score on the Armed Forces Qualification Test (AQFT) you are good in number 1 and number 3 BUT here comes number 2 you gotta read this and understand this very carefully IN SHORT CUT , YOU HAVE TO BE LEGAL FOR 2 YEARS TO JOIN MAVNI AND YOUR ASYLUM PENDING STATUS DOESN'T COVER IT SO FOR YOU THE BEST WAY IS STAY IN TPS FOR 2 YEARS AND JOIN MAVNI THAT'S THE ONLY OPTION YOU HAVE RIGHT NOW TO JOIN MAVNI BUT IF AND ONLY IF TPS IS EXTENDED..................... BEING TPS APPROVED RIGHT AWAY YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR MAVNI ....

thank you Punter bro for your info.. Here is my case though, I was in F1 status before. I applied asylum while maintaing f1 (OPT status). there is no gap in between them. My OPT expired 7- 8 months back, and after that, I appied EAD from asylum. You think i should go to recruiter and talk about it, may be!

I was in F1 status before..............................its means you have to maintain full 2 year status to join mavni because your status is gone. I appied EAD from asylum...................i know you can do many things with asylum pending EAD like making SS if you don't have one, Driver License, etc BUT holding a valid EAD with pending asylum is not enough to join mavni ................................... You think i should go to recruiter and talk about it, may be!.........................anyways its not bad talking to recuiter since its free of cost, you can probably go and talk to them ALSO you can message them OR write in their wall about your questions and your dilemma.......... https://www.facebook.com/MAVNI... GOOD LUCK
