Few borders between India and Nepal is closed due to strike but not all. Nepal has been able to get few of of their containers to India to refill but India govt is unwilling to fill them up. " NOC on Friday said IOC refused to dispatch petroleum products from its Raxaul, Baitalpur and Siliguri depots, citing various reasons such as mechanical failure at the Baitalpur depot and orders from its headquarters to the Siliguri depot not to dispatch oil." "The IOC has communicated to its Nepali counterpart that it would not supply petroleum products until the Terai unrest in Nepali was settled at the political level." ""Fifteen tankers were sent to the Siliguri refinery plant on Thursday. But the IOC refused to refill them citing 'orders' from its Mumbai-based head-office," said the NOC. Of 30 fuel tankers sent to Baitalpur, only four received oil. "The Baitalpur depot has cited mechanical failure at its refinery." Likewise, out of 50 tankers sent to Raxaul, only three received fuel supplies" LINK : http://www.newkerala.com/news/... LINK : http://kathmandupost.ekantipur...

like i said; if NOC buys oil for rupee 50 and sells for rupee 100 for so long, with no sight of stopping this loot; Indian counter part will also want their share. i hope that, beaurocracts of NOC understand they even in monopoly, there is higher authority/power they have to obey to. And make policy to privatize NOC and distribute license to import oil, ASAP to solve this problem
